I am a born and raised a Kansan and have lived in the Kansas City area for more than 25 years. Growing up, I was always involved in sporting activities playing softball, basketball and football. I believe in giving back to the community and being involved with non-profit organizations. I graduated College from the Evangel University with a Business Administration degree and later graduated from Baker University with a Master's in Business Administration.
My hobbies include golf, fishing and landscaping around our home. I’m married to my lovely wife, Sharon and we have a wonderful family that includes our son, daughter-in-law and 3 grandkids, plus our daughter, son-in-law and 3 grandkids. We also have a special addition, Sadie who is a black schnauzer and provide us with a lot of love and fun. Sharon and I love to travel and enjoy the many different parts of our culture and history.
My career in real estate started early in life, at the age of 18, while working with my father in construction. I was encouraged to begin a career in real estate where two years later I created and operated my own real estate company in Southeast Kansas. I continued to expand my knowledge in the financial services industry where I became a Certified Financial Planner (former status) and Registered Investment Advisor (former status). This lead me into technology where I continued my career working for the Kauffman Foundation for eleven years managing the technology team. When they downsized, I decided to get back into real estate and have been involved in this industry ever since.
I now leverage my technology, financial services and construction experience in the real estate business using each to the advantage of my clients. With this knowledge, I can provide a depth of success to sell your home, assist in the purchase of a new home or provide input to investment properties.
